The UK on 35mm Film

My dad had just come back from visiting his mother who lives about 45 minutes away from us. “I brought you a present!” He shouted from downstairs. I ran down. On the kitchen table was my grandfather’s old Pentax film camera. I was over the moon even though I had no idea how film photography worked.

I was given a crash course from dad on how to focus the camera and read the light meter inside.

A few weeks later I was in England visiting my best friend Gillian.
